I went to Colchester Athletics.
I didn’t do anything but I went.
That was the warm up and next week I’m going to go for a run with Arthur, who modestly told me that he did ‘alright’ at a race the day before. What he meant was that he came second and the points he got from that mean he is currently the Essex Champ! He did have a tinge of a pride when he told me I would be running with an Essex Champ though. I would be shouting it through a megaphone.
I told him I’m tired of making excuses and I just want to do well, I’m going to stop worrying if I look silly and just get on and do it. The more you try not to look silly the sillier you look. And that’s just silly.
